Build

The Front Left Wheel Arch

Stage 108.1

Align the screw holes in the large tab of the Front Left Wheel Arch (Part 2) to the end of the Front Left Wheel Arch (Part 1) as shown, then secure the parts together with two (2) AP screws:

Stage 108.2

Align the screw holes in the tab of the Front Left Wheel Arch (Part 3) over the matching posts of the Front Left Wheel Arch (Part 2) and secure it in place with two (2) AP screws.

CAUTION: The image in the instructions is wrong here. They show this Part 3 fitting behind Part 2, but it needs to be on top, as shown:

Stage 108.3

Retrieve your Charger and carefully turn it upside down on a soft cloth. Then, fit this Front Left Wheel Arch assembly down into the front left wheel opening as shown. Secure the Front Left Wheel Arch assembly into place with two (2) AM screws.

I thought I could try and hide the headlight wiring under this panel with tape… don’t do this. It makes it near impossible to fit the Wheel Arch as the wiring just gets in the way:

Instead, I fit the Wheel Arch first and put the connection plug of the headlight wiring behind this raised section:

Then, I secured the Wheel Arch into place and taped the headlight wiring to the inside of the fender to hide it (arrows below):

Stage 108.4

Secure the Front Lower Panel to the Front Left Wheel Arch (Part 3) with two (2) AP screws:

Stage 108.5

Fit the Front Left Wheel Arch (Part 1) to the rear of the front left wheel opening, align the rounded tabs over the screw holes, and secure it into place with two (2) CP screws, as shown:

Stage 108.6

With this Wheel Arch now installed, reattach the Front Left Wheel with the one (1) IM screw and push the Hub Cap back into place.

Thoughts

I struggled with installing this Wheel Arch due to trying too hard to hide the headlight wiring. The instructions say nothing about where to route the wiring, so I just did my best.
