The Fuel Tank and Speaker

Stage 45.1

Retrieve your Fuel Tank assembly from the previous stage. Pass the wiring plug of the Battery Holder up through this rectangular opening of the Upper Panel of Fuel Tank, as shown:

Fit the Upper Panel of Fuel Tank to the lower Fuel Tank assembly, aligning the six posts together as shown.

Make sure the wiring is not pinched or caught on anything here:

Stage 45.2

Secure the two Fuel Tank panels together using six (6) AP screws, as shown:

Stage 45.3

Retrieve your Chassis assembly. Fit this Fuel Tank assembly to the rear underside of the Chassis, making sure the Battery Holder wiring comes up through the large opening, and secure the Fuel Tank assembly to the Chassis with four (4) CP screws, as shown:

Stage 45.4

Fit the Speaker into this circular section of the Chassis, with the wiring facing towards the front of the car, as shown:

Stage 45.5

Position the Speaker Retaining Ring over the Speaker, aligning the holes as shown, and secure it into place with two (2) CM screws.

This is your friendly reminder to try using 3-in-One Oil on all screws going into metal:

Thoughts

The wiring of our Charger build has started. Luckily, I don’t think it was be nearly as complicated as some of my other partworks! I am curious to hear the sounds this will be making soon.
