“In this assembly session you will attach the backrest and the seat belt to the seat.”

This quote is from the instructions, but is not correct for this stage. Here, we will attach the backrest cover and base to the Seat.

Assembling the Seat (II)

Stage 54.1

Retrieve your Seat assembly from the previous stage. Fit the Backrest Cover to the back of the seat, aligning the screw holes.

There is a tab at the top of the Backrest Cover that fits into a matching recess of the Seat, slide these together as shown:

Secure the Backrest Cover to the Backrest with four (4) AP screws:

Stage 54.2

Fit the Seat Base to the bottom of the Seat and align the screw holes.

Like the Backrest, this Seat Base has posts that need to align under the two large tabs of the Seat. Slide it into place as shown:

Secure the rear edge of the Seat Base to the Backrest with two (2) AP screws, as shown:

Secure the Seat tabs to the Seat Base using two (2) IP screws:

Fit the Bottom Section of the Seat to the Seat Base.

Like the Backrest Cover, there is a tab at the top of the Bottom Section that fits into a matching recess of the Seat, slide these together as shown:

Make sure the rear edge of the Bottom Section of the Seat is flush with the Backrest Cover:

Secure the Bottom Section of the Seat to the Seat Base with four (4) AP screws:

Retrieve your Floor Pan assembly and fit this Seat assembly to the slots on the left side, as shown:

Secure the Seat to the Floor Pan from below with two (2) JP screws.

If you tighten these screws all the way, the Seat will not be able to slide back and forth along the slots. Adjust these as desired:
