Installing the Windscreen
Stage 67.1
Peel three (3) strips of Double-Sided Tape Type 1 from the backing paper and apply them to the lower edge of the Windscreen Frame.
The instructions are incorrect here. This step requires the wider Double-Sided Tape Type 2 (67D) strips. There is a spare strip of each shape just in case we make a mistake. Match one of each shape to the curvature of the lower inside (the side with the pins) edge of the Windscreen Frame, as shown:
Stage 67.2
Peel three (3) strips of Double-Sided Tape Type 2 from the backing paper and apply them to the upper inner edge of the Windscreen Frame.
Again, the instructions are wrong here. In this step, we need to use the narrower Double-Sided Tape Type 1 (67C) strips. Match one of each shape to the curvature of the upper inside (the side with the pins) edge of the Windscreen Frame, as shown:
Stages 67.3-67.4
Peel four (4) strips of Double-Sided Tape Type 3 from the backing paper and apply them to the inner side edges of the Windscreen Frame.
The Double-Sided Tape Type 3 are all the same, so you can use any of them at these locations, as shown:
Thoughts
We did not use the Windshield in this stage. Like the Rear Window assembly in the previous stage, keep all of these parts stored safely until we need them again in Stage 70.
