Installing the Roof Frame

Stage 72.1

Retrieve your Rearview Mirror assembly from the previous stage. Fit the Rearview Mirror Arm to this center front hole in the Roof Frame, as shown:

Secure the Rearview Mirror Arm to the Roof Frame from the other side with one (1) CM screw.

This is your friendly reminder to try using 3-in-One Oil on all screws going into metal:

Stage 72.2

Retrieve your Body assembly from the previous stage and turn it upside down on a soft cloth. Fit the Roof Frame into the Middle Section of the Car Body, as shown:

Loosely secure the front edge of the Roof Frame into place with four (4) LM screws:

Loosely secure the middle section of the Roof Frame into place with three (3) more LM screws, as shown:

Loosely secure the rear section of the Roof Frame into place with four (4) more LM screws, as shown:

Finally, evenly tighten all eleven (11) of the Roof Frame LM screws all the way.

I recommend tightening these screws in a ‘star’ pattern to reduce stress on the Roof Frame.

Thoughts

I am not sure if the interior of the real Fast & Furious Charger has this bare roof liner, but it would make sense to reduce weight.
